On Tuesday 1st August the Merredin Show committee held their AGM. Clayton Murray, Julie Nicoletti, Jasmin Cockram and Wendy Porter accepted the executive positions, with Judy Maier, Maddie Earle-Sadler and Caleb Levy taking up committee positions.
The committee farewelled long time committee members Grant Bennett, Debbie Morris, Martin Morris, Jessie Johnson and Charles Hasson and sincerely thank them for their dedication in helping to make the Merredin Show one of the most amazing events in our region.
New members Jasmin Cockram, Maddie Earle-Sadler and Caleb Levy were welcomed to the team, and we all look forward to putting on another fantastic Merredin Show on 1 April 2023.
The Merredin Show committee is run by volunteers and this year’s committee of seven is relatively small for such a big community event. For the Merredin Show to continue to run, and be successful, the committee is asking for more people to become involved. There are positions still available on the committee, or if joining a committee is not your thing, there are coordinator and coordinator assistant roles available. We need you!
If you are interested in being a part of one of the biggest events in our region, contact Amanda at the Merredin Community Resource Centre for more information. You are welcome to pop in and see her, phone on 9041 1041 or email her at merredinshow@gmail.com.
